Are you talking about a confirmed (well, more or less) number of people contained within a particular area - for example a stadium - or an estimated number of people in an over 5Km square area? Just curious like but I'll assume an actual number of people contained within a particular area - for example a stadium.

    95,786 Scotland v Czechoslovakia, 26 September 1973.

Humble apologies RROS I should've realised somebody would call it an estimate, the number was actually 3 million but it got too busy for me 😂

Been to a few college football (American) games with over 100k (not estimated) and their crowds bigger than NFL.

Couple of Barca games over 90,000 as well but I'd need to go find actual numbers to keep happy boy happy.

For fear....over 4000 hamburg fans in away end at Werder Bremen when stadium was under construction and they were shoehorned into a space for 1500.

Been to a few Scotland games at Hampden when the crowds were 134,000
scottish cup final, 1964, Dundee v Rangers at Hampden, 120,000
    Dens 1962 Dundee v AC Milan, 40,000
Scottish cup replay at dens, 36,000
League cup quarter final replay at ibrox, wednesday night, Rangers v Dundee, reputably, 84,000
I was at the Brazil v Portugal Independence cup at the Maracana in Rio in 1972, not sure what the crowd was, but would have been over
150,000. the Maracana could hold 160,000 seated, and 40, 000 standing, for the people from the shanty towns, but generally crowds were always larger than estimates.

Didn't get to Maracana till 2018 so it's been ruined by modernisation and down to less than 80,000 now.
It's not even the coolest ground in Rio, I'd given that to the much smaller Estádio Săo Januário which is stunning.
