Don’t know why but I have a bad feeling about this one. A shock 2-1 win to Oldham, with a consolation goal from Austin. Hope I’m way off the mark, of course, and that we win 4-0. Att. 7,475.

Would be a huge shock as Oldham are yet to register an away win this season.

Who could have imagined that a club who held Alex Ferguson's Manchester United to a draw at Wembley (FA Cup SF) would end up battling against relegation to tier 6.

An odd H2H stat.... we haven't scored against Oldham in any of the last 4 meetings (all League games) with both of the last 2 home games ending goalless. No wins against them in the last 6 all comps.

I've got a bad feeling about this one. Current form may get chucked out of the window because it's a Boxing Day fixture which has a reputation (unfounded or not) for throwing up strange results. They must be seriously bad to be where they are, but I expect they will have a decent backing and that might inspire them to pull off a shock result.

    Notts 1 Oldham 2

Edit: Forgot to add the attendance.... 9,004

Not sure why, but I also have a bad feeling about this one. Probably down to five decades as a Notts fan where disappointment has happened more often than not over the last couple. Notts have frequently ruined my Christmas, but this season somehow feels different. However, I'll revert to fence-sitting mode and go for Notts 1-1 Oldham (Langstaff).

I can't see us having any issues as long as we continue to apply ourselves. Notts 4 Oldham 0 Langstaff 2 Cameron Bostock from the bench.

    8567 being 743 Oldham fans.
