The line on the Subbuteo pitch has nothing to do with offside, it was in position to stop my Henning Boel-painted right back from scoring from outrageous distances, especially if you’d swapped the standard not-to-scale dunter ball for the smaller version from Jimmy Asher’s toy shop in Mid Street, Keith, Banffshire.

This would not have applied to Kari Arnason against those disgusting thick-as-**** jute ****s in 2012.

Think it got aborted as just made game worse.
Defence just stayed on edge of box, nobody got forward (sounds familiar)
