If extra appearances were to trigger an extension then I don't think we'd have seen him feature in the Cup games.

And if they do whomever's responsible for agreeing the clause is in desperate need of being on the business end of a shotgun and I'd be more than willing to squeeze the trigger...... 😇 .

Phillips tracks back and helps out the defence, Diangana doesn’t, that’s a problem. Maybe TGH could replace Phillips?

The worry with Diangana replacing Phillips is not going forward but the fact that defensively he hasn’t the same qualities as Phillips. As the saying goes, you don’t realise what you’ve got until it’s gone. It’s Phillips’ defending that will be missed as much as anything else.

Would probably mean Wallace switching to the left, which he has done at times this season probably a better choice than Diangana.

Diagana - im counting at least six easy chances missed in the last 10 games now. I dont rate Grant but but he would easily have put half of them away 2 yards out ! He was always a luxury player, now he is a liability

Phillips, should have been out the door years ago.
