If either (or both) go to M'bro' can we/the club put a clause (or gentleman's agreement) that they don't play on 29th April @ NYS ?
Would be gutting if either of them were to be involved if we were relegated* in that game

*(Of course we'll be well safe by then, but ..............)

Mind you thinking about it if M'bro need the points for a play off place it'll be a no brainer, they'd play

Wouldn't that be classed as restraint of trade?

Yes it would and I would imagine you are not allowed to do it contractually on a sale but you can on a loan. Obviously a gentlemen's unwritten agreement could be put in place but it probably would set off alarms if for example they did not play against us but did play and excel against other relegation rivals. Assuming of course we are still fighting relegation, we might be pushing Boro for a playoff place and what would happen then

11 pts doesnt sound like much, and even with low pts this season still going to need 70pts for playoffs. 40pts from 18 games is doable. You never know we could make playoffs!

For the record, our Chairman has already turned down a seven figure sum for Chio. Simply not enough under the circumstances. Well done Tony Stewart.

More importantly. 1 point per game and we finish on 49 points. Is it enough?

We were odds on for relegation a couple of weeks ago. I accept your optimism!
