    Belarus - It’s Obvious

They will join Putin for a new offensive. The West should massively ramp up military support and be prepared for it! Germany need to wake up!

Putin won’t give up until he’s defeated so they must be crushed! All frozen Oligarch assets should be placed in a fund for the rebuilding of Ukraine!

Some were horrified with Hitler! What’s going on to civilians now is no different!

For all Putin's boasts, the Russian military machine has been found out. No real surprises there tbh but post glasnost, the West too has been caught napping and allowed its own military capabilities to severely decline. I agree that the West needs to ramp up support for Ukraine but it also needs to urgently ramp up military production itself. You cannot keep giving weapons and equipment to Ukraine unless you can quickly replace these at home!

Germany won't be lying about the predicted year delay for tanks. I'm not advocating a war footing and very clearly we have many of our own domestic issues revolving around finances to deal with but, given the current global situation, it would seem prudent to increase investment in our own military capabilities asap.

Totally agree! I also get why the American public are sick of their country being the policeman of the world and contributing far more per capita than some pathetic Nato countries! There should be a veto of at least two rather than one to stop countries like Hungary who cozy up to Putin!

If Ukraine is not given the weapons it needs to expel the Russians from their country, NATO will end up doing it for them. Europe’s long term security depends on Putin being repelled, the West just cannot afford to let Putin walk over any other country.

Was talking to a friend who is from that part of the world, he gave me quite a balanced and very scary analysis of the situation.

His main point was this, if Ukraine win this war and Putin loses - as the west wants, then Putin will likely lose face being overthrown/killed. Then what?

There are worse people waiting in the wings if Putin does fall. Some of whom would have no problem using nuclear weapons.

Everyone seems to be concentrating on the war, but not thinking about what would happen afterwards. There needs to be a plan put in place now for once the war is over, something we haven't done in places like Afghan and Libya. So that these terrifying people don't get power. Or all we are doing is swapping one dictator for another, who could be many times worse and has a nuclear arsenal.

    Poland taking the lead... hopefully.
    Sky reporting....

Polish PM on sending Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine: 'Permission is of secondary importance'
If the wait goes beyond Friday it will be too late.
Russian Federation needs now to be confronted head on.
There are better people then the Putin type.
This needs to be upscaled massively now.

Anyone who talks about ramping up escalation is mad, it will only have one outcome. We know Putin is mad but that doesn't mean the world has to descend into insanity.
Ukraine has always been a racist country who's fan's taunted the black England lads, and for most of the time has been very close to Russia. Nothing to do with us.

Two of my predictions for 2022 came about. Russia would invade Ukraine and the first effects of the Covid vaccines would come to light.
Astrazeneca has already been removed as it was being linked to blood clots.
Who knows if we will have any more long term effects from it.
The sheep were stampded into panic to the sheep dip and a new medicine without questioning the outcome.
Now the sheep are being steered by the same media to the brink of WW3.

Tell your friend he has every right to be scared but been scared is not an excuse for inaction.
This needs to be ended. Thankfully the Brits have learned from history, that appeasement is a failed policy with fear mongering leaders.
    Let's see after tomorrow..

Escalation needs to be ramped up very quickly.

Or the frontline will move at lot close then it is now.
And I don't mean deared gas petrol or diesel or food.

Anybody who thinks this will not escalate before it's over are in cuckoo land.
    FFS...🙄
