Good news indeed. My understanding is that ACV status may not ultimately prevent any owner of the club from doing what they wish with their own property (I doubt the fans alone would be able to raise enough money for a Community Right To Bid to be entertained) but it will certainly provide an additional hurdle for them to overcome.
I assume the ACV status will have to be re-applied for though every 5 years or so to ensure continuity of this form of protection?
