That’s a long contract that he’s signed; if he stays until the end of it he will probably be the longest serving manager in any of the four top divisions. I suppose if anyone does come in for him we will get more compensation. The reverse is true, also!

It’s the best news. He loves it here at this “Great club”. Quite right too.

Brilliant! He is the man that I thought that he was after all. Well done to all at Albion as well. All we need now is to get rid of Lai and there’ll be no stopping us.

I thought it was a windup when I saw the Happy Valley off to Leeds clip going around!

Yes, time for a celebration, I’ve just finished off a nice bottle of Chianti!

Not the whole bottle, it was already opened!

Brilliant news! I'd read the rather cryptic "Stronger together-we're the Albion" post the club had put up during all the speculation but was still worried. Love the club's posting of the Happy Valley clip too of Catherine saying to her sister "Why's everyone pretending you're going to Leeds when you're not?" 😂

Like many I was genuinely very worried over the possibility of him going and sort of kept asking myself why are you getting so worked up over this, it's only bloody football. That's it though isn't it, it still gets to you even with everything else going on.
