Preston North End striker Ched Evans, has been given a 4 game ban for violent conduct.
The Football Association ruled an incident in the 79th minute of last Saturdays loss to
Bristol City, which was not seen seen by referee Leigh Doughty, was violent conduct.
Evans denied the charge & PNE said they were " surprised & dissappointed " by the
hearings outcome.
Evans will miss games against Burnley, Luton Town, Hull City & Wigan Athletic.
Evans was banned for 4 games, instead of 3, because he was also shown a straight red
card in the opening day draw of the season at Wigan Athletic [30th July 2022].
