Agreed maybe impact sub role be better suited undoubtedly has talent. But I do mean get him on for the last 30-20 (not 5 to fecking 10 mins)doing the dogee runs and pressurising a slowish hopefully tired backline should create openings.

But then what do I know

Well we won’t need to worry about whether Middleton starts, comes on as a subbie or does 9 minutes or 90 minutes.

Apparently he’s done his hamstring in in training.

Saw this elsewhere. Given Behich was out for the season though, who knows what to believe these days.

Callum Davidson will give Derek McInness team talk from Saturday.
They're a basket case, just get out there.

P.S. We'll prove him wrong tho. Bring on Heggarty, 65 mins.

The opposition team talk at the moment is sime, just keep it tight, be patient, give nothing away, and you will get a chance at the other end. Likely to mention the dissatisfaction in home support to play on.

My main concerns for tomorrow are that the players might play with fear, and that experienced coaches like McInnes and Davidson know how to change a game when it's not going how they planned it.

This needs a really good team talk and making the right changes at the right time in the match. OK, it's the hope that kills.

I've been thinking about all the different opinions on here and FWIW I think we have a 50-50 chance. But that depends entirely on the players, maybe not so much on our inexperienced coach.
Reason I say that is that there's been plenty teams where the players play well and dig themselves out of a hole despite the coach.
(ie in cases where they don't rate him that highly)
But that scenario usually comes about when there are strong leaders in the side who create a bunker mentality and I'm not convinced we have enough of them.
But we do have enough good players to get us out, we just need them to start killing games off when 1-0 up.

Not sure which poster said it this week but signing Fletcher and failing to get players around him is criminal. As is playing Levitt so deep.

One other worry I have is who on our coaching staff stands to gain the most from a relegation scenario but maybe that's just a conspiracy theory for another day.

As someone said before a game many weeks ago, Just Win!
