Reading between the lines Bonner doesnt rate Lankester, thats why he wont play him.
Someone in the boardroom or dressing room does, a coach or coaches, thats why he got another contract, and Bonner cant get shot or ship him out on loan.
The problem is, Bonner picks the team, hes in charge, and wont pick him.
The team is crying out for another inadequate, but with a touch of creativity that never manifests. Like all the others.
It shows some serious problems behind the scene.
It will be a Caligula job, with many many knives, most in the back.
