    Sturgeon’s been quite lucky in the fact that in comparison with some of the most dogsh!t awful prime ministers the UK has ever produced, she’s sometimes looked the epitome of good governance and political stability.

    No idea who’ll replace her, but her departure is a blow to the independence movement and possibly a boost for Labour’s electoral prospects in Scotland.

    I agree with this. She's been an excellent orator, but that has masked the reality of ongoing crises in Scotland. Looking and sounding like a serious politician doesn't mean you actually are one.

    It'll be interesting to see what Labour do. Will they have to commit to a second referendum to get SNP voters to switch?

    Christ, I hope not. She's awful. She said of women who need single *** spaces "Don't be a Jeremy Hunt". Nice.
