    Karius

Looks like he'll start in the final.

Obviously we'd rather have Pope but since that is a no go now.

In some ways this is almost poetic for him, he's remembered for ****ing up a cup final. Now he makes his debut in a cup final, could really lay his demons to rest.

I can see him being very up for this, incredibly so and we've seen our keepers (Dubs for example) have brilliant debuts.

Gutted for Pope-this is a huge blow to him personally as well as professionally.

He'll relive it over and over again and wonder-like the rest of us-just what the actual fuck he was doing.

Karius as an option at least has 'big game' experience. And, much as he hasn't played for us in a competitive match (can you fucking believe it-that could only ever happen to us, first game a cup final replacing the 'keeper with the most clean sheets in the league) I feel strangely calm about him playing.

I'd be more concerned if it was Gillespie starting.

Remember, no body gave us a chance in the Fairs Cup. We ARE daft enough to go and win it, against all odds.

He'll probably have a stormer and exonerate his previous experience with Liverpool. We will be pleased he was here.

Sorry but I can only see one result in the final, we seem to be on the slippery slope, and they are on the up, BUT, it’s a one off game and anything could happen, they have to be favourites which suits me.

So you thought we didn’t play well with 10 against 11? I did and was encouraged to see ASM play much better.
It was only one game but we could be turning the corner.
