Ross County v Long Punt to Fletcher FC

May as well start a match thread!

Personally, couldn't give a sh!te about formation or who plays! Just hope that somehow, we manage to steal 3 pts. Every team in this league must be looking forward to playing us right now! Seek!

Attitude and 3 points all that counts.

Maybe someone should injure fox or give him Covid or tell him butchers here to hump his wife and leave him at home.....

The long punt to fletcher is pointless. Don’t get me wrong fletch does well to win majority of the headers but we gain no advantage from it, and more times than not we end up on the back foot.

Im sure I read on this forum that we have won 2 games with fletcher in the team and 3 without him. Not saying he should be dropped, but this surely highlights the fact, if true, that we do better when we are not punting everything up to him.

Kia and behich can offer us options on the left but the right remains a major issue. Smith offers nothing going forward and positionally is a bomb scare at times. Something that along with the keeper should have been addressed way before now.

Think the title is unfair, anyone that watched the game Saturday and thinks we didn't play the better football, with the better quality and passing then they watched a different game to me

The fans are a laugh, when we have possession and try to build and be patient, they get all up tight, start to moan and create pressure on our own team, they then lose possession due to reacting to the crowd wanting them to hurry up then the crowd moan that s the oppo have countered or got in a dangerous position

We have more quality than the opponents coming up, its good we can mix it up with Fletcher up there, we need more bodies back from injury though

County's keeper is not that good on the plus side

then they have no business playing football at this level if all it takes is for a few people to shout hurry up to completely derail our season.

TBH I do agree we were the better team v St J and had more of the ball however we did absolutely nothing with it in the final 3rd.

There is more than 1 way to win a match, St J kept it tight, knew we couldn't break them down, and then took their chances. We on the other hand did sweet fa with the ball and succumbed due to having an utter clown in the goal

Teams that want to, or are asked by their manger to waste as much time as possible in a match, and maybe break away for a goal, must luv us.......... We waste more time ourselves than the they do.

Some teams don't even bother closing us down at the edge of our box , or 5 yards from it, or in certain cases , until we get near their box.

It's fine if we are winning (still no happy aboot that) but needs must. Can't remember the last time we caught a team oot. There will be a few probably, but I have just got used to the pedestrian attitude when we are in possession.

We run doon our own clock..........

Did St J take their chances or did the clown actually just concede two absolute howlers

Basically without him we wouldn’t be in bottom two
