At 74 he became a viral sensation having played on Jools Holland's 2022/23 Hootenanny show-but wasn't aware because he doesn't do social media!- and has a new album (" Flang Dang" ) out after a mere 17 year gap😀 Many of the stories he tells in the article are in the clip. Thanks for posting👍

Hi , it's a great interview and he has such a passion for music.
When he talks of the tour with Hendrix and Pink Floyd . I went to the Coventry gig of this tour.

Thanks for posting that, Lloyd, very interesting. AFL is a highly regarded guitarist and as he says, has backed some of the biggest names in rock and yes, he does come across as a nice bloke, apart from the Cardiff City top that he’s wearing! I remember him from the 60’s when he was in Amen Corner and his singing was terrible! He’s obviously improved with age!

I have just read that Andy Fairweather Low has cancelled all his shows until further notice owing to his wife being diagnosed with a terminal illness and that he will be looking after her 24/7. Very, very sad when such illnesses strike.
