The DUP should be told where to get off. They are trying to hold everyone to ransom over their turning their backs on power sharing in Stormont. I voted for Brexit over questions of sovereignty and law. That should not preclude talking to the EU and facilitating trade, investment and research. Treaties by their nature are rarely one sided, nor concluded without compromise.

Exactly. Paisley set the tone and it has never changed, nor will it. They don’t even represent the majority in Northern Ireland.

With any luck the DUP will keep their nerve and block this Remoaner/EU dog's breakfast, that leaves EU law still supreme in Northern Ireland, enforced by EU institutions and the European Court of Justice. But I won't be holding my breath.

It amazes me how you can keep posting these trite posts during a match night when most of us don't give a damn, however, keep on, it's mildly interesting to some of us, but obviously. not all. it is primarily a footie forum so why not save the dross for non match days? I post this after being greatly disappointed by our shallow victory and disappointment at the draw so my views may be distorted by results and alcohol for which i offer no apology.
