    Howe on Fraser

“Ryan training with U21s. I made a decision to concentrate on players who are committed to Newcastle, & for the benefit of the group.”

Does he have a future at the club?

“Life & football can change quickly, but at the moment he hasn’t."

Strong stuff from our gaffer and he chooses his words very carefully so Fraser must have stepped way out of line.

Clearly he wasn't going to feature much but look at the way Ritchie and Murphy have handled themselves-there are ways of going about things the right way even when you'd rather circumstances are different.

Anyone know how he's stepped out of line?

    Just deserts for a clown.

    Needs to grow up.

    Pathetic unprofessional behaviour.

Everyone was asked 2 things from Howe when he came in:

    1 - give your all
2 - put the good of the club and squad before yourself

This man failed on both scores. Someone who had such a strong relationship with the manager previously it's really a sorry state of affairs on all levels.

Should have been mature about it and mutually terminated his contract in January.

Very strong words. . . I reckon he must have had a real fall out which Howe is worried will impact first team squad.

Although, on flip side I have also heard that he asked to go to the U23s so he coul get regular game time for a move.

But i suspect it's the first thought.

First team fringe players always get 23 appearances on request. To be moved out of the first team squad implies he's being a D!ck and disrupting squad harmony.

Perhaps this is why we've seen a slight down turn in form from BDB as those two were close.
