Thread: Supporter Dies as a result of thuggery

  1. #11
There are around 14 murders per week in the United Kingdom.

Manslaughters are a different act altogether, no proven attempt to kill the victim. The initial "suspect" was released on police bail until May 1st.

Speculation and innuendo are flying about.

Let's not add to it on here please guys?

R.I.P. Tony and may justice prevail.

Whilst it is always a tragedy for the family, to my mind, anyone who goes looking for a fight takes the risk of injury or, at worst, death. The facts need to be determined. At law, a person is allowed to use “reasonable force” to defend themselves. If the deceased was the aggressor the person he attacked has a right to defend themselves.

It could that the deceased was the “thug”.

I remember thinking in the 80’s when violence was a problem, or even now with gangs, those intent on violence should be put in an empty room or hall and let them kill each other. Hose the place down afterwards. Let innocent people who want to watch a game of football or even walk the streets live safe in the knowledge that they will not become innocent victims.

The news is that 55 year old Blackpool fan Tony Johnson has died and a 33 year old Burnley fan has been arrested.. Very sad news.

It's coming to something when it's safer to visit South Bermondsey than it is to go to Blackpool my mate.

I'm not fond of the EPL claw84. VAR and silly kick-off times seriously do my head in.

And by the time we've paid our debts off, there won't be much dosh left to pay the vastly inflated wage bill. Keep a seat warm for us Claw, we'll be back.

Ask your mate to confirm this mon ami but my less than useless "source" says we are going all out to keep Beyer, Maatsen and Tella on permanent 4-year-deals. Obafemi is being made permanent.

Viktor Gyokeres is also on the "wanted" list.

He is also alleging "money is not a problem".

McNally on his way out, ditto Churlinov and 2 x centre-midfielders a priority.

He might be making this all up but it sounds like a plan to me.

Ask your mate what he thinks/knows please?
