With the greatest of respect to the referee last night came as no surprise to me. Despite receiving a number of plaudits following the Cup game away to Chesterfield I thought she/they/whatever was just as bad then and said so at the time.

Ticks the boxes at the FA, but nowhere near the fitness levels required for this level of football. She couldn't keep up with play, but luckily for her, neither team made her task more difficult.

That was something I noticed watching on line. Couldn't believe how far off the play thye ref was at times

Constantly a long way from play which doesn't help making decisions but to be honest she was no worse than a lot of the ref's we have had this season.

I disagreed with a couple of decisions but that is par for the course. I thought she was no better or worse than most male refs we get.

Most refs are awful and simply guess on decisions and get many wrong.

I don’t see why having a woman stood in the wrong position changed this, it’s still a 50/50 call even if she was up in the executive box toilets putting on her lipstick and not even watching the match!
