    Championship Club Wigan Athletic - Report £7.7m Losses - Financial Year End June 2022

    Championship club Wigan Athletic have reported £7.7m losses for the Financial
    Year, up to June 2022.
    Wigan Athletic won the league one title last season, after Phoenix 2021 Limited
    bought the club from the administrators in March 2021.

    The club said, This was expected.

    Be interesting to see how this plays out, specifically whether the suspended 3 point deduction will be applied.

    It's hard to see how it cannot be, but we shall see ....

    You would have thought that’s the idea of a suspended penalty to make it a deterrent so to adhere to the agreement upon exiting administration.if they haven’t then inact it.but with the EFL who knows.
