Pumping in funds. . . .Doing a City

Toon are now selling 0.05 of a share for 57 million

Stavley has had to give back some of her shares that they were gifted so that other consortium members that want to invest can purchase 0.05 of a share for 57 million.

Great way to pump more funds in and it make the club value go up futher.

I read that slightly differently, though amounts to the same thing pretty much. I read it as that a single share with a nominal value of 5p (0.05) has been bought for £57m

Edit: Actually, reading it again, I am not sure which direction this is going as the form is title "Return of Allotment of Shares". Does this mean that the club are buying a share back that had previously been allotted to someone?
