    It is the new normal Norder, mine was quite a big job for a hernia, it had been left too long and was quite a mess according to the surgeon. I was still home in plenty of time for my tea though.

    I get it - Sinkov......if you can return home to recover, with someone there who can take the weight, so as not to strain yourself and heal without troubles.....but still, would expect a short period for observation after the op - I'd guess they've looked at the percentages and figured the majority recover without issue's...so not in their interest to delay release for the few that'll suffer a complication....maybe ?

    I had what I would call "careful observation" Norder, blood pressure taken every 30 minutes for three hours, asked if could I pass water and if I did I could ring the wife. Pi$$ed a gallon and off I went.
