Reply With QuoteI also wonder how much time some of these flights actually save when you consider time spent travelling to the airport ,hoarding everyone off and through the terminal,boarding,waiting for clearance,taxiing,take off,flying the route,descending,taxiing to the terminal,getting off and hoarding everyone through the terminal and boarding another means off transport and then travelling to either a hotel or stadium. If it saves an hour you'd be lucky so I'd say it's a vanity project.....a bit like pop stars who like to turn up in limos!
