Sturrock thinks they've got the right man:
"He did very well at Alloa and at St Mirren and that doesn’t happen out of nothing."

Yes, wee diddy teams are his forte.
Apologies to St Mirren who are clearly bigger than united.
Alloa would probably give them a run for their (lack of) money too.
The f*uckers are 100 years old today.
They have had their game moved to tonight, against the wishes of Arbroath, whose part time players will be working today.
Be very nice to see their birthday celebrations spoiled with an Arbroath win.
100 years of relegations, runners up medals, handbag dipping & massive lice
That's weird cos they were actually formed in 1909 as Dundee Hibernian.
Maybe they're trying to forget the glory years of Second Division and Eastern League mediocrity.
Or that, after leading a call for the restart of Division 2 after WW1 and the introduction of automatic promotion/relegation to be introduced in 1921/22, they then filled one of those spots in Div 2, ending up in the Alliance League.
And almost going bust ... hence the rejig as United.
The one good thing about them being top of the league is that they can easily f*ck it up from here and finish second, which is the very ethos of the club.
