It wouldn't take a lot to change that - Alf.....such as, stop dithering with the ball, make some unexpected runs, and confuse the opposition instead of trying to baffle them with a map of a circle, and when Burnley have them in their half, perhaps after an attack, instead of playing the ball up from goal, giving them time to re-group, send it up the pitch.....and when they get a goalscoring chance, if they could at least try and put the ball betweeen the posts / test the keeper..... oh, and stop shooting at defenders ,because if they do that, the ball will tend to deflect off them.

After that second half display you could be right Alf.

Don't say that you weren't warned about today. QPR struggling for points and managed by a lad from Blackburn who has been trying to keep them in the Championship since his appointment -----didn't surprise me at all.

After beating Boro and the Blades we had, on form, three bankers, so seven points lost. It reminded me of getting beaten by Norwich last season.

Players on the beach, it's one of the oldest cliches in football, but it has a basis in reality.

Anyway, I'm so pissed off with us losing to QPR and Clitheroe turning out a showbiz XI that the table will have to wait until tomorrow to be updated.

    Sorry Alf.

    I have a question.

Will the Championship title trophy be presented to you guys on the Ewood pitch in front of their fans after you clinch it on Tuesday night having put another nail in Rover's playoff aspirations?

The way we are currently playing Sheffield United could still nick it. Assuming we pick up three points from somewhere the home game against Cardiff looks to be the best bet.

I was hoping we'd have won it yesterday, then the Rovers players could have formed a Guard of Honour and applauded the Championes on to the pitch. That would have been a nice gesture, mutual respect and all that.
