Barrow v Carlisle United, Holker Street, League Two, 3:00pm Saturday 22nd April

This is our last chance to break a season long habit. This season whenever we have played a sequence of Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday matches we have lost either the 2nd or 3rd match in that sequence. Even when the opposition is on the same schedule we fall to this trend.

This month has definitively proved that the optimum schedule for the Carlisle United team is one match every seven days.

This season the team has played the current top four teams twice and from the possible 24 points it has taken 3 points.

That is the first time this season when playing Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday that we have not lost the 2nd or 3rd match in that sequence.

I have just had a word with Dominic Raab about the fore-arm smash in the match. Raab says that the Barrow complainants are all woke wimps who should man up.

If you cannot take a routine forearm smash then you should not be playing the game.

Or did I misunderstand what they were crying about? Was it a simultaneous effort by two of our players and thus a four arm smash?
Surely only the Guardian-reading tofu-eating wokerati snowflakes would have the slightest of complaints about such a matter.
