way too kind. Nothing subtle about the propaganda. The US mainstream media could make the Pyongyang Sun look like reputable source of information. The WSJ is probably the only large paper with any integrity left.

BBC does appear to try to actually be somewhat Journalistic as does Reuters.

Lots of folks this side of the pond criticise the BBC for often appearing to lean to the left in news reporting. I don't see the evidence and would prefer the Corporation to remain funded by the licence fee not by subscription as has been suggested, nor would I want it to start taking advertising (also suggested) as we would then have no distinct differential between it and the other commercial channels. I think broadly speaking they get it right most of the time, and when they don't there is at least some measure of public accountability given how the Corporation is funded and how its governance structures are a good deal more transparent than the commercial channels.
