Any clues to how many tickets Boring Wood have sold?

So to balance it all out, I went for 1-1 with us winning it in extra time, but it could just as easily go the other way.
The fact that we haven’t beaten Boreham Wood doesn’t help but it’s ridiculous that my brain is making them out to be 70’s Brazil! If it makes any difference I was sure we wouldn’t beat Grimsby, I even said to my friend that we’d probably lose to an injury time winner….in fact it was far worse than that. I don’t think there’s a more painful way to lose than that so at least that’s something!

I’m not much of a singer but I’m going for it Sunday and will give the team my full vocal backing!

Grimsby was the perfect example of I what I meant by the most painful way possible. Injury-time equaliser due to a needless foul by a Forest loanee, followed by an injury-time winner in extra time. Then Grimsby going onto beat Wrexham, ensuring that we miss out on the title the following year. Maximum pain achieved.

God I hope it's different on Sunday. But in my pessimistic head, this season and our record-breaking points haul has only ever been the most outrageous prelude to more disappointment. I hope I'm proven wrong. If any Notts team can break our run of playoff bad luck and disappointment, it's LW's team.

I think it best we never sit together 😂

Logic and reasoning suggest we should do ok, would be nice to be able to just enjoy the occasion though….I’m getting so wound up about it that it is spoiling the hills up for me!

A post with which I agree, Slack. Frankly, I am so nervy about Sunday I may give it a miss. Fortunately the guys in Notts team are by and large unfamiliar with our club's recurring tales of woe and that may be our best hope.
However, I can't see anything beyond Notts 1 Bore em 2.
Those fans on here who have given generous scorelines like 3-0 and 4-0 ought to know better. Playoffs hardly ever deliver such clear cut victories.

    Notts 0 Borehamwood 2 15301 in attendance.

Macca off to Forest in the Championship, Luke Williams to Huddersfield Town in the aftermath.
