I've said this before about Bola that I always thought there was a player in there, but clearly there is something not right as MT wont use him either. As for you saying that we could have used the money to pay a fee and wages for a player that is some use, and whilst I can see in a way what you're getting at, no club knows if a player they have paid money for is any good for them until they've played a few times. Eaves was going downhill at Hull before we signed him. Bola he'd only had a few loan games at Rochdale before we signed him hardly a reason for signing him. No bad recruitment both.
