GB and Whitfield have been proven right and I was wrong. These players cannot be managed into a team, no matter who is in charge. The squad deficiencies are too great.
Really dont know why after yesterday and so many other games this season, but i still have something in me that says we can still do this! But, unlike someone else, i know i am the lone voice in this and would like to put forward the plea of insanity!

Because we have put ourselves in this position, 9 points are now essential. St Johnstone are a double edged sword in this as them gaining 6 off the next 2 games is helpful, but their demise could save us if we only gain 6 points, because its impossible for RC and Killie to both take 9 points.

In a nutshell, i think we are fecked!

Personally I see a lot of effort by most players. What others are seeing as lack of effort, gutless, etc., is imo just what you have suggested. They are *****. We simply have too many of them. Also no depth to our player pool which is very unbalanced. You just cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Basically hope springs eternal. We all get a dose of it as we are in denial about the inevitable. Yes we all get a touch of insanity.

Weeks??! Months ago for me. Probably after the “9-0 tools downed” game. A few wee sprinkles of false hope but not much to see any way out of it. Time to start the big overhaul and budget cutting for next season.
