I personally don't care too much about the sacking, it happened so we move on. I am however concerned about the likely replacement; Nelms / Strachan have made some woeful decisions on that front and maybe got lucky when they stumbled over the competent Gary Bowyer. I hope they get their next decision right but hope is all I have, confidence in that is something I don't have.
Nelms also surrounds himself with his own very close circle of friends.
We have never seen a photograph of the Dundee Football Club Limited Financial Director Alasdair McGill so nobody has a clue who he is.

Maybe he doesn't want his photo out there? After some of the abuse the last fans' rep received simply for being part of the DFC BoD I can't blame him.

However, it's easy to find a picture online https://uk.linkedin.com/in/alasdairmcgill

However the Dundee supporters who purchase season tickets or purchase tickets for home games will never know as everything is a secret.
There has been to statement from John Nelms as managing director explaining to the supporters exactly what happened and his plans regarding the appointment of the new Dundee FC manager.
    He doesn’t have to.

Not sure what you guys don’t get.

A normal football chief executive or chairman would explain to their supporters exactly what has been happening but communication from John Nelms to the Dundee FC supporters is non existent.
During the last season we have heard more about John Nelms opening a branch of Tim Hortons on Kingsway East than he has told us about anything else.
Nelms told the DSA committee members that we are playing our home games at Dens Park until the steel is required for the stands in his new stadium development at the former NCR Camperdown grounds.
Nelms has never told the Dundee FC supporters this information despite the majority of them not being members of a Dundee supporters club.

So I was right, he doesn’t have to say anything.

    Just deal with it.

Can you show me where I’ve said that?

You guys need a dose of reality.

He doesn’t need to do what you think he should do.

Normal managing directors, Chairman and Chief Executives of professional football clubs keep their supporters fully informed of what is happening in their football club which would not exist without then handing over their money purchasing season tickets, match day tickets and sponsorship.
John Nelms does not seem to realise this but instead tells the Dundee supporters nothing.
