And wouldn't that be a really wonderful way for the hypocrite from Milan to sign off for good?
Load of *******s, we will see loads of these 'links' just because Orta is there not because there is any truth in them.

Orta isn't at Sampdoria, he's at Seville and has (apparently) just failed to get Rodrigo.

Radrizzani is at Sampdoria and whilst i agree with you that there will be lots of bollox around, he kniws all three if those named in the article and all are at least as good as those already at his new toy.

I had a dream last night and trust me they come true.
Saw Summerville playing for another team in the premier league and scoring a belter in his first appearance. He was wearing all white so might be Spurs or fulham!

Would love to have Potter but Carlos Corberán may be the right one to hit the ground running as WBA are in mess & only require a £2m release clause.

Règis Le Bris, now Head Coach at Lorient of Brittany in French Ligue1 had been sounded out by Leeds. He joined Lorient 10 years ago as their Academy Chief, arriving from Rennes, where he had splendid results with their youth players who now play all over Europe.
Dont think he'll be the one when the ER 'White Smoke' hails the chosen one 'tho.

The EFL rules apparently require 10 days notice prior to takeover.

Obviously EFL protocol rules of Acquiring of Control have to be followed subject to any successful takeover - but i'd suspect our next Coach No1 target has been identified along with backroom staff by whoever it'll be in charge.

    3 ACQUIRING OF CONTROL

3.1 If any Person proposes to acquire Control of a Club:

3.1.1 the Club and/or the Person shall, as far in advance of the acquisition of Control as reasonably possible and in any event no later than 10 Normal Working Days prior to the date on which it is anticipated that such acquisition of Control will take place:

    (a) submit to the League a duly completed Declaration in respect of each Person who will become a Relevant person upon the proposed acquisition of Control; and

    (b) submit to the League up to date Future Financial Information (as defined in Regulation 16) prepared to take into account the consequences of the change of Control on the Club’s future financial position; and

3.1.2 the League shall have the power to require the Club and/or the Person who proposes to acquire Control to appear before it and to provide evidence of the ultimate source and sufficiency of any funds which that Person proposes to utilise to acquire Control and/or invest in or otherwise make available to the Club.

3.2 In relation to any proposed acquisition of Control of a Club by a Person, The League shall have:

3.2.1 the powers set out in Regulation 16.20; and/or

3.2.2 the ability to impose such other conditions,

as in each case it may determine, in order to monitor and/or ensure compliance with Regulations 16 to 19, 21, 22 (including Appendix 3) and 105 to 114 inclusive (and their successor or replacement provisions).

3.3 No Person may acquire Control of a Club and no Club may permit a Person to acquire Control of it until such time as:

    3.3.1The League provides confirmation that all Persons that are required to do so have complied with the process set out in Rule 3.1.1(a) and no such Persons are liable to be disqualified as a Relevant Person;

3.3.2 The League provides confirmation of its satisfaction with the information provided pursuant to Rule 3.1.1 (b); and

3.3.3 The Club and any Person proposing to acquire Control have acceded to any powers and/or accepted any conditions imposed pursuant to Rule 3.2.

3.4 No later than 28 days after any acquisition of Control of a Club, any new Relevant Persons of the Club will attend an induction meeting with The League.
So, a "tick box exercise", a "imple formaluty

Indeed, a "tick box exercise" apparently, a "simple formality" something that would take but a matter of hours even if it included vetting all 60+ members of the entire 49E "club", so saith some posters.

    Delusional

The EFL have no track record of assisting L?UFC, quite the contrary, and even if they were to be totally even-handed in their deliberations the idea that all would be complete in days as opposed to weeks is laughable, as are those who suggested it would.

As Mr Hay has somewhat belatedly seen fit to point out, the two major shareholders could (and should) have had a "plan b" in the case of relegation. They didn't, which given their supposed "sound business acumen" is a tad disappointing, if not entirely surprising, and it leaves LUFC in the position where even if (and I for one am not holding my breath), we see a positive EFL announcement before the end of this week (and there is no guarantee it will be), whoever is the new coach will have less than a week to put in place a new coaching staff, to put together a side to meet Scum in Oslo a week on Wednesday, 5 weeks to craft a new 1st team from the skeleton of what will be left when the dross from the last two windows depart (if we can get rid), the few players with class and talent leave for greener pastures and our youngsters decide whether or not this basket case of a club is worth their continued support, and all this while the club will be in the throes of creating a new board, new commercial structures that reflect the changed reality brought about by life in the Championship

And we have (supposedly, according to some) been in worse situations? Not so. We have never been gutted from top to bottom by any previous owner (Bates included). We have never faced a new season with nothing at any level of management that represents a realistic way forward with contractual arrangements already in place (again, including when Bates acquired the club and appointed Wise). We have never faced a situation where none of the players who might be in the next 1st team squad have the faintest idea as to who will remain at the club in a months time, hence who they may be playing alongside and/or what tactics and strategies might be employed by a new coach we don't currently have. LUFC has never faced a new season, at any level, faced with those challenges and the responsibility for this sh1tstorm lies with Andrea Radrizzani and those who represent 49-ers Enterprises.

It is a shambles of extreme levels.
I don't know but hope that....
It's common knowledge who the manager will be at ER. He has made arrangements with backroom staff so the fitness part of preseason gets going ok.
I suspect we know some will leave and hopefully some targets identified and deals ready to go through.
    Or maybe not.....
