    Hasn't it been given a blue plaque for it's place in history? It's where they went to sign up to fight in the world wars wasn't it?

    Noticed also that signs have gone up on the " hovis factory/ old Toyota roundabout warning of work starting there soon and will last for 12 months. I assume it's to do with the damaged bridge between NYS and Boothy's

    Voted one of best camra pubs so that’ll be laughable if they’re thinking of demolishing it

    True and in their case probably deserved but Camra choices can often be the one the judges use as a local

    Some choices are as mysterious as our “ man of the match” awards

    It was only one of the commenters who mentioned demolition. Re-reading the article it just says that the area purchased for development includes two pubs, one being The Alma that has been cited for possible demolition. I guess The Cutlers would just be included in the redevelopment because of it's listed status.
