I don't think there is a hard and fast rule regarding the sell on clause. Have heard it quoted before that the sell on figure is after deducting the original fee and otherwise as a stand alone disregarding the original fee if any. What I wonder is that if we now have a sell on deal with Hibs, and I certainly hope we do, do Man Utd. then get 25% or whatever of that future windfall with their percentage carrying on through to any new deal. I suppose you could argue it both ways.

I’m just staggered that another keeper is STILL not in, given we knew we needed another one in August never mind January. The team last season collectively delivered bottom six. Birighitti on the other hand individually took it further and single-handedly delivered relegation. If he starts as number one come next month, season ticket or not, I ain’t going. And I suspect I’m not alone in that - the reaction to his final phuck up against Livi was visceral in the stands.
