Think extending Newmans contract is ok as he is still young and plenty to learn, as long as its not under Hinchcliff! Niskanen though is the epitome of the ipad brigades failure to find talent to bring in as im sure he was pursued through multiple transfer windows because his stats were amazing!

So if rumours are true, then is this what our squad consists of in the very near future, barring the youngsters.

RB, RCB, Graham(out of contract?), Behich(might not fancy Champ?)
Middleton(??), Djoum(forgotten man?), Sibbald(??), Levitt(too big for Champ?),
Fletcher(weighing options?), Mochrie(next seasons Scott Fraser!)

Even if we get credible replacements in the missing positions, as ive noted, there are more who might, and some who really should walk out the door. So we are looking at recruiting a whole team, plus an extra versatile defender and CDM then fill the rest of the squad with youngsters.

Dont think this is happening in 3 windows, never mind this closed season!

The keeper he had at St Mirren that went to Ipswich would be a great signing. Jamie MacDonald number 2/goalie coach in a Stevie Banks role and Newman as 3rd choice. Think John Ruddy was mentioned as an experienced signing last season, who spent time with Motherwell earlier in his career, however he wasn't a "current internationalist" so that got sh!t canned.

Joe Shaugnessy would be a great signing. A centre-half who clears the ball away.
