I totally agree with this. I can't really understand why folk wouldn't want McGrath back. I think he'd be outstanding at our level at that's what we need to gain promotion.

To give a bit of balance to whether or not McGrath is good enough for the Championship, would anybody prefer if McGrath went to Partick, Dunfermline or Queens Park? I think he would be decent, and a move rather than a loan, may well have him more settled. If he is available for us to get and he doesn't break the bank...then we should be snapping him up pronto!

Dunno if he wants to as such but can see the attraction all the same if coming to Scotland, unless he gets a gig at the sheep or Edinburgh clubs we are the next biggest club despite current level, challenge of helping get a big club back up

You do know the boy's just back from rupturing his hamstring, then tearing it again during rehab? That's tough going for a kid of 21. Give him a chance. You're usually the first on here moaning at folk for writing boys off too.

I'm not completely writing him off, I like what I saw at times under Courts and more recently in the Falkirk game but he definitely needs to do more to get involved when getting his chances at this level imo

I'm not sure that he does...but there seems to be a section of our support that thinks he isn't good enough to play for us...and we are in the diddy league! Maybe he is thinking it is an opportunity to find form and get himself back in the shop window? Maybe he has no interest in dropping down to our level? I just think that we have a section of our support that are in denial about how sh1t we are at the moment!

I'd prefer Fuchs over McGrath. Doubt we've got a chance of signing either of them though as both are too good for the championship

The goal I saw Declan Glass score v Hibs on Boxing Day 2021 was one of the very best I have seen in a thousand games at Tannadice. If he can score a goal like that I'd never have him out of the team. It was scintillating.
