No to the ox, please but Tielemans is a big yes from me, 3 top 4 teams chasing his signature and on a free. Good bit of business me thinks, Torres and Barnes next please......villa getting in early, I like this!

I'd love us to get Barnes, Tielemans a great signing adding competition for places to our midfield and adding depth in what could be a 55+ game season.

65m for Torres? For a defender? I hope this is just lazy journalism, linking Unai to every Villareal player worth 50p.

Midfield looking stronger with Tielemans and the returning Tim & AJ.

Get a couple of widemen in, and sell Bailey & Bert.

Still don’t have a Striker. Do we think that Archer is ready to step up? Not sure that he has the lungs or game for Unai-ball. Shame, I rate the lad highly.

It’s all a bit Meh, for me at the moment. No info on a start for renovations, sh1t kit, and too many Execs having to find their feet, at the same time.

Add to all that, certain clubs are clearly pulling everyone’s pants down in their dealings with sandier parts of the world.

Torres done. Less than the release clause. 5 yr contract signed, pending medical.

bit like the moreno signing, not the obvious position you would think needed an upgrade... but you have to trust the process.

It looks to me, that last season, Emery was testing everyone, to see who could hack his system.

Starting in the area where he may well feel the least comfortable with, ball retention.

Hence 2 signings who don’t treat the ball like a hot potato.

Monchi is not officially Villa til July 1. Torres will probs be his statement signing. Maybe, there’ll be a double announcement, in matching shirts , tomorrow? (Totally my own prediction, about x2 announcement, so pay no heed )

My prediction skills bomb again. Torres is on his Honeymoon, lack of commitment from the lad, me thinks.

Looks like we have put a bid in for Moussa Diaby from Leverkusen.
