    According to Sky

Burnley's net spend on transfers this summer is £32.6 million. I find this very hard to believe. Does it involve some creative accounting or smoke and mirrors? Or are we making use of hire purchase and other sleight of hand? Perhaps Alan Pace is really good with money?

I would imagine it's spreading the payments over the length of the contract. If we had to pay it all up front it must be going on for £100 million now.

Chelsea have been signing players on 8 year contracts to get round FFP rules, but new regs won't allow payments to be spread over more than 5 years.

It's as plain as a pikestaff that Alan Pace and his colleagues have quickly signed in to what is required to survive financially and squad depth wise in the EPL. I've stopped worrying I just want to nab tickets for as many away games as possible.

Home games are sorted I have 5 Season Tickets in a row in the Jimmy Mc upper, all is good!

You've missed out there BT. What's wrong with a nice round half dozen?

Season tickets are completely sold out now with a waiting list of 3,500. I well remember the time when you could buy an adult second half of the season ticket now for about 40 quid!

If you buy a player the fees go in to end of year accounts. When you sell a player the funds are reflected in the accounts instantly.

Still waiting for Villa to sanction the deal apparently, someone has suggested they could they be delaying until the deadline has passed by which he could play against them, others that Villa are insisting on a very complex buy-back clause. Whatever, I would hope we're looking elsewhere, we seem to be trapped in Lansburyland again with this one, and we don't want to be going there again.
