Last season's team would still boss possession against the Muntonians, but would end up on the losing side for sure

Bishop and Ravenhill would be problem, Hughes and Rodgers even more. And there's Kasper to get past.
The game would be a bit like Wrexham v Notts. In fact, Munto and Wrexham are a bit similar. Mullin is a Hughesy type for example

If we're talking about value for money, then it's no contest. The current team's achievement and potential is far more impressive than the Munto team relative to the amount spent building those two sides.

Forgetting value for money and achievements I think Munto beats this team in a one off game. Like AC says, it’s basically Wrexham v Notts again!

Bishop and Ravenhill v Palmer and Bostock would be interesting though. Hughes and Rodgers would’ve had a field day against some of our defending last year…..maybe even big del!

Think Munto thrashes the national league Notts team,

the L2 Notts have got a hard job to be equal, promotion as champions
The team and manager were broken up, because Trew failed to give Cotteral the backing he wanted losing us momentum, so in the event of promotion to L1 comparisons can not be made
When , not if we arrive in L1, things should be very different, stable owners, and a long term plan and most importantly capitilising on momentum

And the Warnock teams, would run circles round last year national league and this years league 2 Notts County
We have a long way to get back to what we once were, but the tide has now turned and we are finally going in the right direction

The Munto team all day. Even on the odd occasion they went a goal down, you just knew they were going to come back and win the game.

Agree with this - especially the Mullin / Hughesy comparison. Both players that leave their mark on defenders and spend all game making a nuisance of themselves. The Munto team was stronger, but I do wonder how the fullbacks would have faired against the pace of Nemane.

Though the Munto team brought in better players as the season progressed, I was there on the opening day when we thrashed Bradford City 5-0 and it's hard to imagine anybody could have lived with us that afternoon.

God, yeah, imagine Hughes against our high line and kamikaze defending. Munto would be out of sight by half time if weren't careful.

Current Notts against Nolan Notts would be an interesting contest as well. We'd have 75% of possession, but we'd struggle against the relentlessly direct play and combative midfield. I think current Notts would probably take them though. Imagine Duffy and Brisley trying to cope with our fluid passing in and around the area. That or Nolan Notts would play awful but somehow win, which was their style.

Munto team at full strength with Cotterill as manager would batter the current team don't forget they won at Premier League Wigan, but the current team would run rings round the Nolan team who would just stand and watch the fluent passing football and probablty then complain to the ref.
