    Promotion Day Photos

My wife & I recently visited the Hunworth Bell between Holt and Melton Constable in North Norfolk for lunch (excellent meal & well worth a visit - https://hunworthbell.co.uk/ ). We were served by Alan Palmer (excellent chap & well worth a pat on the back) who it transpired was Vanarama Nation League official photographer on promotion day. Alan very kindly sent me the following links to about 800 photos which include a variety of scenes throughout the day & a smattering of previous playoff finals. Hopefully you'll enjoy them as much as we have.

Thanks for those links, some fantastic photos. Glad to see he also captured the papal blessing - will make sure the person concerned sees them 🤣

Seven of us went, 3 generations and one of the images has us all there - official proof of attendance.

Many great photos, actions and reactions. I wish my photography was half as good.

The young lass in the goalkeeper kit that walked onto the pitch with Sam Slocombe is my second cousin. Her Granddad (my uncle) was only 11 years older than me and took me to my first Notts game in 1962. He would have been so proud had he lived to see her on the day.

Thank you so much for sharing. I was really enjoying going through this great set of images and was shocked to find a real close up one of me which is a fantastic picture. I may try to contact the photographer to see if I can buy an original. I may even pop in to the Hunworth Bell on one of our regular visits to the area.
