    Patrick Vieira.........

Leeds United are reportedly set to make Patrick Vieira their next manager – and they will reportedly confirm the Frenchman’s appointment on Friday of this week.

According to latest reports & several bookies have stopped taking bets on him

don't want him, they should look at what hes done as a manager, not as a player, a good player doesnt always make a good manager

Seemed like he lost the locker room at palace. They definitely had a lot more talent than we did last year.

    Kind of scary for us.

The way things are looking (the list of players on free transfers or vastly reduced fees following relegation seems to grow daily), if we get anyone in soon, they will have no dressing room to lose, only to build?

Agree, not sure what he or any other incoming manager will have to work with. Aaronson, Adams, Mellier, Koch, Firpo, Harrison, Gnonto, Wober, Drameh, Roca, Rodrigo, Sinisterra, Summerville - Can anyone see any of those staying? Pretty morbid really.

I hope the transfer in pot is big and they crack on quickly. What a mess !

Agree, why would any want to stay given what has brought us to where we are, but.......

For a bunch of new young, hungry players, coached by a PL legend (Viera or not), at a club where the ownership is sorted (and money made available to improve ALL the aspects of the club that have shown just how poorly prepared/funded we were for the PL), with nothing to lose and everything to gain, could be VERY exciting. That "bunch" might (just might) include some of the youngsters who gained that "null and void" promotion last season, and (maybe, just maybe) one or two "mature" players who think they can be the rock in this particular hard place?

Not that I'm to keen on farke but vierra.....no championship knowledge, one managerial post which ended badly, he's no manager. Farke....two championship titles, knows the championship well, plays exiting football, got the best out of a mediocre side with little money and a 24000 crowd, with backing and a 35000 crowd it seems a no brainier, so we'll just wait and see these muppets put vierra in.....or worse parker.

Must admit when you see what is available Farke is starting to look like the one who could do the job and get us up 1st time of asking , maybe?
