Same here Jimmy, I've never camped at a festival, always prefered a nice comfy hotel relatively close but not sure that's a possibility at Glasto.
I always enjoy the TV coverage and irs a good way to get exposed to artists you possibly wouldn't normally bother with.
The standouts for me so far have been Young Father's and shame and also liked warpaint.
Decent Cour****ers set complete with a little James interlude.
I found Sudan Archives set interesting, and enjoyed Rick Astley and the Blossoms doing the Smiths more than I expected to.
I thought the Artic Monkeys set was ok, without being blown away.
Very much a "for the band" set than a crowd pleasing one.
The Nick Cave meets Richard Hawley comparison is a very good one 😆
Of the ones on here mentioned, that I haven't caught yet, I'll definitely have a look at Kelis, the Pretenders, Chemical Brothers and Rick Astley's own set.
Probably foo fighters too and watch the Elton John set as well.
