Hall Of Fame
He was great for Motherwell (along with Archie Knox). The manner of his leaving was disappointing as he had rebuffed Aberdeen initially, but I suppose it is reflection of his desire to keep achieving success, even as an older manager, that he thought he could progress his career by moving to Pittodrie.
He was a class act and I believe he had a real affection for our club. He will be missed by many people.
