Ahmad has form on this, cancelling the Watford friendly at short notice after they had sold tickets in order to please his mates and play a Manchester City Youth Team.

Contempt shown to a small club by Ahmad and contempt shown to Barnsley fans by avoiding the reason why. Maybe "logistical reasons" ?

I thought Julian Warren, Jules, would have been a shoe in as Jeff's replacement on Soccer Special but, apparently, Sky executive suits have been "imoressed" by a test piece done by one of those bright young things who talk to each other in a group for hours on end, largely gibberish--somebody called Adam Smith from Saturday Social.
