If you have £100 and someone takes £10 that's 10%, if someone has £1k and someone takes £10 that's 1%.

Now I'm not advocating the wealthier pay more, I'm saying no **** shud pay anything.

I have now stopped buying the tele as off today. After 55years will now only
Buy the courier . Think more reading in the courier when the footy season
Starts I won’t buy it on a Saturday. Also stopped the Sunday post a few years ago

I am surprised that anyone still buys the Tele as it goes on sale at the same time as the Courier.

Strange way of looking at it you can say the same about anything you purchase including a round of golf. No poor folk are forced to buy a telly licence.

If you have a telly and I think it's around 99% household ownership of a telly and either record or watch live telly or download on BBC I player the law requires you to have a licence.

Nobodies forced to buy a telly, correct but then again nobodies forced to live in a house or earn money
