Oops! What happened yesterday? I can almost hear the Safaris playing Wipeout Let's take a look at what was a disaster for nearly all of us.


No shows: Nardendee has unfortunately missed out again for the fourth consecutive week. Does anyone know him, is he okay? Send me a PM if you do. Because of his absence I will remove him from the league and should he return I will simply reinstate him.Shame if he's packed it in though.

Weekly winner(s): Well he doesn't post for two weeks because he said he forgot to but, what a way to make a comeback. He was the only one to hit normal double figures out of all of us. Step forward Harpo88 and take a bow Sir. Your score of 10 points and your bonus gives you 15 points overall and a little boost up the table. Well done.

Predict a Score: Final score was A.rsenal 5 v 0 Sheff Utd. Just two of us got this correct so Grist and myself pick up 2 bonus points.

Jokers played: Two of you took the plunge and I bet Adventus wish he hadn't but, he saved himself getting a spoon as he doubled his score of 2 up to 4 points. The other player, Millersrus, doubled his score up to 16 points and boosted himself well up the table so not too bad at all.

Wooden Spoon(s): With the scores being so low from many this weekend, these spoons were going all over the place. First there were four of you on 4 points, then it was another four on 3 points but, it was finally settled as three of you scored only 2 points. So It's one each for CT Milller, LolMorgan and pip_y. Commiserations chaps better luck next week.


Looking at the top of the table it has become very competitive with a lot of Jokers having already been played. A few still have theirs to play which could change everything so it's anyone's shout at the moment. HK Miller and LeedsMiller share the top spot as Millersrus edges into the third spot.

At the foot of the table we have a new strongman in town as he holds everyone else up but, I'm sure CAM will be looking to address that asap.

Weekly winner(s): Another good battle as we saw four of us reach double figures. First there was ThaiMiller on 10 points, then along came CTMilller with 11 points. The final scrap right down to the wire was between Nez and myself and it all hinged on the Newcastle v A.rsenal game.

Nez wanted an away win and I wanted a home win. Newcastle won so I claimed the final point to show Nez with a very credible 12 points and I finished on 14 points. Add on my 5 bonus points and I was a very happy and relieved winner....phew!

Predict a Score: Final score was Plymouth 3 v 3 Middlebrough so no winners this weekend.

Jokers played: Just the one played and to very good effect. Well done Nez for doubling your 12 points up to 24, great score indeed which boosts you well up the table. Bet you're happy with that.

Wooden Spoon(s): I thought Clarkey had took another shine to a spoon along with Cayton on 2 points but they were saved by ackworth Miller with his 1 point score. Hard luck pal but it's all yours this time.

We have a new leader at the top.....me! With my 7/10 predictions coming in and only just beating Nez, I sit aloft for a at least a week, I'll take that . Nez with his super effort and playing his joker, sees him move in behind me to claim the 2nd spot, while HK Miller takes the 3rd spot.
There is a bit of a gap starting to form with the top five, however, there are still Jokers to be played so anything can happen between now and the 31st December.

At the foot of the table CAM is still pumping iron in order to hold us all up but, he along with Bramley, still have their jokers to play so beware those just above them.
