    Tony Bennett has died, never got the chance to see him did manage to see Frank Sinatra.

    As a little kid I liked Tony Bennett even though I was only 8 when he first sang I left my heart............ Not my usual sort of music as I gravitated towards West Coast rock bands but I loved his voice and preferred him to Frank.

    A true musical legend. Not really my kind of genre but can't deny his ability as a singer. Those I know who have seen him live were always impressed. The diversity of artists paying tribute to him says it all really. RIP

    Saw him at The Odeon Brum in the 70's. Finished the show by singing Knowing I'm On The Street Where You Live without a microphone. Superb!
