Thread: Are we sleepwalking our way towards yet another Sh1tshow?

  1. #41
Looks a little like media nonsense. Given how much he loves the club unless they want to sell him I think he will be here next year.

A left back would be good but otherwise we have quite a few options at the back.

Midfield look short by two players unless Adams and Dallas are close to full fitness (unlikely)

Wingers/attacking midfield - lots of options even if some quite young.

Striker - need someone who is reliable and can stay fit

As it stands I don't believe we have enough in the squad for a top 2 finish.

Me neither rev, if we stay with what we have it's play offs at best, feel we are 3 or 4 short, glad however, apart from wober, we got rid of the other lot.

I don't, but I wouldn't mind to hear someone positive try and change my mind.

Seems to be bare bones except wingers.
To be positive.... The deadline ends on September 1st. Being back in Championship means we might have to wait till PL teams have done their business and we will then know who available, further away from the top table.... I would think Farke expects more incoming

….with you mate, it’s (seems) no secret coming out of ER is that we need to strengthen. The gossip is just to pass my time while I have more important things going on, I pay no attention only to give me a bit of entertainment. God knows how many off seasons this happens and it’s exactly like the last … apparently’s and I heard blah blah’s. When it happens, nowt I can do.
Dozen games in I will voice my opinion.

I’d rather we recruit wisely than quickly.

Farke is no mug, so we probably need to have some patience.

    Will Farke have patience though.
If the Generals dither and he’s not getting the ammunition to mount an attack?

From what I’ve seen and heard from DF he is no man’s fool. He said it takes time and patience to get to where he likes to be in regards to his squad. I am sure he laid a few things on the table and papers signed before he came on board. It took awhile to get him in and it’s the same for bringing players to the club. Players are not as loyal as us fans so it’s hard for us to question why it seems nothing is happening.
