I’m not in any way surprised that she is somewhat attractive

Lots of rumours doing the rounds about this. We all know Boris Johnson is not an ethical man, and apparently there is a super injunction out so the press can't report on why she has been given this plum job.

So its likely either an affair or she is his daughter. Where's your money?

Very clearly she has done nothing to have earnt this position and Sunak should never have allowed Johnson's list to pass. Complete farce!

Whilst the very concept of the House of Lords is debatable, I still believe it can provide a needed check on government-dependent upon the ability of the people serving in it. This young lady may indeed have ability and potential-but she assuredly has not got the proven experience nor given the "service" to the country -as opposed to "service" to Boris 😲-that should be a pre-requisite for the position. There have been other debatable or controversial appointments to the House before of course but this one takes the p iss.

I struggle to think of anyone who has abused their ministerial positions quite so much as Boris Johnson.

It really is staggering how some people want him to return to frontline politics, when he debased the basic standards of high office quite so much.

I agree with you. They are all corrupt though! Is it right that Sunak's wife is screwing the tax system with her Non Dom status which includes not being liable for a penny in inheritance tax? Is it not a conflict of interest with Sunak's links to his father in law ( one of the richest and influential ) citizens in India whilst this country is laughing all the way to the bank by purchasing very cheap Russian oil? Would Sunak have the balls to cancel any foreign aid to India on the basis they are hand in hand with Putin. We know the answer to this one!
