    First Clyde

Thrown out of their ground now Glasgow United threatened by the SNP led Glasgow council. The SNP now want to withdraw the right to a trial by jury of accused rapists, there's going to be a lot of Goodwillies out there.

They want to quadruple the conviction rate....what about just getting the correct decision.

It's absolutely heinous the hounding of Goodwillie.

What do you think the reason is? The friendship between Val McDermit and Sturgeon? The council doesn't treat any other employers of rapists this way, are there any other recorded incidents of employers being threatened with eviction by the council if they employ certain people? As far as I know rapists are not barred from any other council properties apart from football groundsin fact it's not even rapistsit's only 1 man. The fact he's not even a convicted rapist makes it all the stranger.

As simple as a piley on imho.

High profile, the woman involved think it makes the sisterhood stronger when they look hard and as I've said for a while men are treated as 2nd class citizens in Scotland, men with cocktail dresses on are considered paragons of virtue mind you.

Ex Raith director admitted to me they had "caved in" but didn't want the vitriol that was aimed at the club which he said was "unbelievably intense and from the very top"......I took that to mean sturgeon the country's most high profile man hating, authoritarian female supremacist.

A convicted rapist can use a female only space in Scotland, changing rooms, bathrooms and shelters.....if they put on a wig, cocktail dress and a bit of slap.

Someone accused can be hounded by every powerful woman in Scotland and told to be contrite and apologetic for something they claim they haven't done.

Sturgeon stood outside her front door and said she wouldn't apologise as she had done nothing wrong.

    Goose gander apparently not.

Goodwillie can " transmission" then be left alone or fightback.

If I was him and truly innocent I'd be fighting back.

The club has now said they intend to stick by him, good I hope they do. I wonder if he'll be barred from all council grounds? Will other junior clubs who don't own their grounds be forced to refuse to let him play? From what I can see the club own their own ground but train on council facilities so I presume they can only stop them allowing him to train and away games?

Susan Aitken the SNP leader of Glasgow City Council is not exactly ‘squeaky clean’ and it will only be a matter of time before her past is dredged up again by the media as a result of her meddling in Glasgow United playing David Goodwillie in a football match. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/new...husband-probe/
A refurbished shop unit owned by Glasgow City Council was let to s company owned by her husband Gordon Arthur for an annual rent of £1. Another case of nepotism.

Goodwillie said on a podcast he's not had justice.

Complainers solicitor has written to PF asking for charges to brought if Goodwillie dosent " hide behind " his letter of comfort.

Basically solicitor was allowed on radio Scotland to goad Goodwillie.

No way would he get a fair trial now and no way he should ask to be prosecuted to " clear his name "

    Appalling.

Val McDiarmid despite supposedly being a life long Raith Rovers supporter scuppered their chances of winning promotion at the end of that season by using her prominent position to kick up a fuss about Raith Rovers signing Goodvillie
Strangely McDiarmid never said a cheep about Goodvillie when he signed for Clyde and played for them for two years.
